York County Teacher Aide Program

An early learning apprenticeship program, the ECHO York County Teacher Aide Program will serve as a workforce attraction tool for York County early childhood education providers.

The program covers the cost of in-person teacher aide Child Development Associate, provides monthly stipends to both the teacher aide and mentor teacher, includes a 6-week virtual leadership series for the mentor teacher, tailored events for the mentor teacher and teacher aide, and 45-weeks of salary reimbursement paid to the participating provider(s) for the teacher aide position.
